Moorings
The harbour has 241 drying moorings with the majority let for private use.
Moorings are in trots, laid to ground chains across the harbours. Both the ground chains and risers are provided by the Council, boat owners will need to provide their own rope and attachments. Information regarding eligibility and management of moorings can be found in the harbour Harbour Policy Rules and Regulations

Moorings are allocated annually then offers to those on our waitign list will follow.

Commercial Moorings
There are 34 commercial moorings for either fishing vessels or passenger vessels carrying fewer than 12 people.
All crafts must be licensed by the MCA following the requirments of Code of Practice

Temporary Moorings
Temorary moorings are offered to those who do not qualify for a permanent mooring due to not residing within the required area (within the 10-mile radius of the harbour) or pay Dorset Council tax from residency. (Dont worry! we usually have spaces to offer)
